Eclipse Materials

In 2023 & 2024, Americans will see two separate solar eclipses! One will cross the country from Oregon to Texas on October 14, 2023, and the other, a total eclipse, will make its tour across Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine on April 8, 2024.

The USDA Forest Service and National Association of State Foresters want to help visitors safely visit our nation’s vast and unique public lands to view these solar eclipses. This set of social media graphics reminds visitors of important wildfire prevention tips while also reminding them of the shared responsibility we all have to protect our nation’s public lands.
